Job Overview
As a Retail Sales Representative, you will embody the company's service principles with every customer interaction.

Your role will involve achieving both sales and operational objectives as outlined by store management while adhering to the established Policies and Procedures of the organization.

You will set a standard for your colleagues by demonstrating precision and thoroughness in your responsibilities.

Collaboratively, you will strive towards the shared goal of showcasing the store, its products, and yourselves to customers in the most appealing manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our clientele by being knowledgeable and adhering to company service standards.
- Maintain a positive demeanor, readiness to assist, and be well-informed about products.
- Promote the company’s rewards program and other business initiatives.
- Stay updated on current sales promotions and ensure merchandise is presented attractively.
- Keep stock organized and well-displayed.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the store.
- Acquire and maintain essential product knowledge and fitting expertise.
- Be vigilant regarding Loss Prevention issues involving customers and staff.

- Participate in physical inventory counts, assist with shipping and receiving of merchandise, and help with product placement on the sales floor as necessary.

Cash Handling Duties
When performing cashier responsibilities, ensure all transactions are processed in line with existing policies and procedures. All products will be checked for completeness.
- Process all sales and transactions through the POS system in accordance with company guidelines.

Essential Relationships
Engage effectively with customers, fellow Sales Representatives, Store Management, and District/Regional Managers.

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and all levels of staff.
- Basic communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal), organizational abilities, and mathematical proficiency.
- Previous experience in retail sales, ideally in specialty retail or footwear.
- Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
- Basic visual merchandising skills and an understanding of Store Presentation Standards. About Rack Room Shoes
