Job Overview:

The Front Desk Agent will provide exceptional service to residents and guests, supporting the General Manager and Resident Relations Supervisor in their daily tasks. This role is responsible for executing a variety of concierge, social, and resident functions to enhance the resident experience at the property or community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive service to residents and guests, answering questions and giving direction in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Answer the telephone within two rings, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
  • Take, record, and relay messages accurately and completely.
  • Document all pertinent information in the resident logbook throughout the shift.
  • Monitor property access points through the operation of Closed-circuit Television, reporting suspicious activity to the proper authority.
  • Comply with service expectations and company standards, as well as policies and procedures.
  • Accommodate resident requests expediently and courteously within 24 hours of the initial call.
  • Follow up with the person assigned to the task and the resident to ensure completion of the request.
  • Attend and participate in designated meetings or functions as required by the General Manager or the Board of Directors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • College-level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal).
  • Second language helpful (Spanish, French, Mandarin, Japanese, Farsi, Persian).
  • Strong general math skills.
