Position Overview:

As a Server, you will be responsible for addressing all food and beverage requests from our guests. This role involves working at various events such as buffets, plated meals, cocktail receptions, weddings, and more. The venue operates during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, providing opportunities to work in different food and beverage settings. A valid food handler's card from Utah County and Sips and Tips certification are required.

Compensation:

This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $13.00 to $15.00.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all beverages are replenished promptly.
  • Clear dishes and glassware from tables and transport them to the kitchen or designated area.
  • Change table linens and service settings as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, chairs, and table settings.
  • Restock condiments and other necessary items.
  • Provide menu information and answer customer inquiries regarding food preparation.
  • Record special requests from customers accurately.
  • Communicate orders to the kitchen staff.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including wine.
  • Assist customers with meal service and buffet navigation.
  • Monitor guest needs and respond accordingly.
  • Recognize when meals and beverages are finished.
  • Promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
  • Ensure attention to detail and accuracy in all duties.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Clear verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Physical strength to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.

  • Basic knowledge of arithmetic and measurements.
  • Prior experience in event service, banquets, or restaurant settings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
