Job Description

Position Overview

Solari Enterprises, Inc. is a leading provider of multifamily affordable housing solutions, with over 40 years of experience in the industry. As a Community Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our communities, including general administration, maintenance, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to track community performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with management procedures and funding agency regulations
  • Process applicants and lease units in accordance with the Resident Selection Criteria
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local government agencies, including HUD and TAC
  • Conduct regular inspections of maintenance work, grounds, and common areas to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Collect rents and handle delinquent accounts in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on affordable housing
  • Proven track record of supervising staff members and achieving team goals
  • Experience with Section 8 and other government-funded programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license
  • Proof of auto insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
  • Experience with Yardi and other property management software
  • Knowledge of fair housing, 504 ADA, HUD, and Section 42 regulations
  • Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO) or Specialist in Housing Credit Management Designation (SHCM)
  • Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) or Fair Housing Coordinator (FHC) Certification

Compensation:

  • $23.00/hour
