The Facilities and Engagement Manager is a key member of the St. Olaf College team, responsible for maintaining the physical facilities and appearance of the Lion's Pause. This role requires a strong organizational skillset, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the daily appearance and equipment of the Lion's Pause facilities, including the Jungle and Den.
- Oversee the maintenance of student entertainment items, such as pool cues, game consoles, and other systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and entertainment in the Pool Room and Pause spaces.
- Collaborate with students to gather feedback and implement projects to enhance the Lion's Pause experience.
- Work closely with the Purchaser to ensure the necessary purchases are made to maintain entertainment items.
- Partner with the Marketing and Design Manager to create and distribute Pause signage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
