Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments of security system issues and perform repairs on low voltage security and home automation systems, including cameras and locks.
  • Install or upgrade low voltage security and home automation systems for new and existing clients.
  • Adapt existing equipment to integrate with our Smart Home systems.
  • Educate clients about our products and services, ensuring they understand how to utilize their systems effectively.
  • Assess client security needs and recommend additional products and services to enhance their coverage.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, job notes, and quality assurance metrics, while communicating effectively with the leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in a customer service role.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of wireless communication and troubleshooting.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and skills.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Must meet the requirements for applicable licenses and certifications.
  • Ability to perform installations of life safety devices and smart home components.
  • Capability to take over existing systems from various manufacturers.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, laptops, and tablets.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Work Environment

This role primarily involves fieldwork, requiring physical activities such as standing, bending, lifting, and climbing. The position may involve lifting up to 40 pounds and extensive use of personal computers or tablets. Use of hand and power tools is occasionally necessary.

Compensation Range: Minimum: $52,000, Midpoint: $65,000, Maximum: $78,537.00
