We are seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) dedicated to ensuring the maintenance and safety of our aircraft fleet across various operational areas. This role is essential for maintaining our EC135 helicopters, enabling our team to provide safe, timely, and high-quality transportation services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance tasks including mechanical inspections, repairs, and provide updates to the Lead Technician or Regional Maintenance Manager.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate supplies and equipment, maintain equipment tracking logs, and document part expenditures.
  • Accurately complete service documentation and adhere to FAA regulations while following company information security protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Utilize effective communication to coordinate efforts among departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow AMTs and operational teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three years of FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification experience.
  • Three years of experience with turbine-powered helicopters.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance systems and record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145.
  • Familiarity with EC135 helicopters.
  • Skills in avionics troubleshooting and electrical repairs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work safely on ladders or scaffolding.
  • Capability to stand, kneel, and lie in various positions for extended periods.
  • Physical strength to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools and perform repairs.
  • Exposure to loud noises and vibrations; may require hearing protection.
  • Visual acuity for inspection and repair tasks, including color differentiation.
  • Compliance with FAA drug and alcohol testing regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
