Job Summary:

As a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager at Sauer Structural, LLC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project manager in daily functions, working closely with the Sauer site team to manage workflow and subcontractors. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Sauer project team and subcontractors to resolve construction issues and coordinate progress.
• Maintain RFI logs, asbuilts, project schedules, close-out documents, and material status logs.
• Develop purchase orders, subcontractor documentation, weekly owner's meeting agendas, and other general project requirements.
• Ensure Company procedures and standards are maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Structural Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Construction on DOD projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera Scheduling, LEED Accredited, Cost Control Software, and MS Office.

Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to perform the following activities: standing and walking for long periods, stooping, bending, climbing (ladder, scaffold, steps, etc.), working overtime and weekends as needed. Ability to push, pull, and frequently lift and carry objects. Able to withstand weather elements (including but not limited to heat, wind, rain, etc.).
