What You'll Do

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree.
  • Ten or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience for this posting.

  • Highly-motivated with proven ability to develop, lead, and manage multiple concurrent and complex IT-related infrastructure and/or application development projects in a fast-paced, demanding business environment on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management best practices and processes, such as those of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Knowledge and understanding of project lifecycle management and software development lifecycle.
  • IT project leadership skills focused on control of the classic triple constraints of time, cost, and quality.
  • Ability to manage and direct the activities of multi-disciplinary teams consisting of IT technical personnel, functional personnel, and interfaces with internal and external customers, including management and stakeholders.
  • Ability to logically and systematically evaluate project and process problems to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Experience in conflict resolution with individuals or a team.
  • Exercises initiative and independent judgment and discretion under limited supervision.
  • Experience serving as a Scrum Master is desired.

Requires a Q clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
