Program Details

The program is a 10-week internship that provides extensive on-the-job training, educational speaker events, coaching, and mentorship. Interns will be placed on a specific team within the Investment Solutions Group, Chief Investment Office, or Merrill Home Office, such as:

  • Investment Strategy and Thought Leadership
  • Asset Allocation
  • Due Diligence
  • Portfolio Management & Strategy (Fixed Income, Equity & Multi-Asset)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of investment strategies and solutions for clients
  • Conduct research and analysis on various investment products and platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and opportunities in the market
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree program student with a graduation date between November 2026 and August 2027
  • Demonstrated record of achievement, such as extracurricular activities or leadership roles
  • Finance knowledge and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and think independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3.2 minimum GPA
  • Technical skills such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Major or minor of studies in a field of Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related technical field

Travel and Work Arrangements

Interns will work on a full-time basis, 40 hours per week, with occasional travel as needed.
