About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll/AP Specialist to join our team at BCI Construction INC. This is a full-time position that will be based in our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for our employees.
  • Report workers' compensation claims in a timely manner.
  • Compile prevailing wage calculations for our projects.
  • Conduct monthly prime contract reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy in quarterly and annual reports.
  • Pull invoices into our accounting software with precision.
  • Create weekly accounts payable checks and generate lien waivers.
  • Assist project administrators with payables and sub-contractor invoices.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our software and its various project management modules.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of work experience in accounting.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
  • A strong moral compass that aligns with our company values.
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with Sage 300 and/or Procore.
Work Environment
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (full-time in office).
