Job Title: Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at SmartRecruiters Inc. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's tax obligations are met and risks are minimized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage global tax compliance for our subsidiaries in the US, UK, France, Germany, Poland, and Australia.
  • Support and follow up on tax audits of group companies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with financial audits and tax provision calculations, providing accurate and timely information to support business decisions.
  • Manage the VAT returns process, reconciling VAT accounts in our system and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Standardize and maintain transfer pricing documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all tax-related inquiries and correspondence, providing expert guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • Experience in accounting or financial systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
