Job Opportunity

Terraphase Engineering Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Risk Assessment Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our environmental health sciences group, you will provide strategic and technical support on client projects, effectively support business development efforts, and lead multidisciplinary engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the application of risk assessment sciences to solve complex environmental problems affecting clients
  • Manage the performance of technical work and prepare project deliverables
  • Support the expansion of work with existing clients and develop relationships with new clients
  • Identify, develop, and secure new opportunities to provide solutions for clients
  • Support the learning and professional development of junior staff

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in toxicology, environmental or chemical engineering, environmental health, environmental science, biology, chemistry, or similar field
  • 12+ years of experience in applied human health and/or ecological risk assessment
  • Strong commitment to client service and professional development
  • Strong reputation among clients and peers for creativity, integrity, responsiveness, and technical expertise
  • Strong technical skills in environmental fate and transport, statistics and spatial analysis
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Experience leading project teams and supervising the work of others
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as a member of a team
