The GeorgiaGov Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a highly skilled Prevention Project Coordinator to manage the implementation of assigned Prevention Projects.


As a key member of the Office of Behavioral Health Prevention and Governmental Affairs team, the Prevention Project Coordinator will ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Federal and state regulations, policies, and procedures.


This role involves supervising staff and subrecipients prevention services/programs through monitoring of prevention contracting, goal and performance measure progress, contract deliverables, payments, reporting, and evaluations.


The selected candidate will also serve as liaison with SAMHSA/CSAP, State Advisory Committee, Funders, and community organizations, providing technical assistance to funded providers concerning aspects of prevention and assisting in the development of the community prevention infrastructure.


This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.


The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of professional-level experience related to the area of assignment.
