Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team.
About the Role
As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with our patients, their families, and our healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in our electronic system
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
