Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, working closely with our patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure the highest level of care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care and coordinating patient assessments and care
- Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, and documenting care provided in our system of record
- Providing health promotion, teaching, and training to family members, and following up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Managers on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
- Performing other duties as assigned, including accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians and obtaining co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
