Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex clinical equipment, devices, systems, and instruments
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Monitor, mentor, and support lower-level Biomedical Equipment Technicians
  • Contribute to corporate initiatives regarding improvement and development of policy and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance in the selection and installation of medical equipment and systems
  • Participate in staff development and mentorship programs
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in electronic, biomedical engineering, or a related field
  • 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical repair in a healthcare technology setting
  • Supervisory, management, or lead Biomedical Equipment/Healthcare Technology Management experience with mentorship capability
  • Experience effectively repairing, maintaining, and calibrating clinical devices such as General Biomed, OR, Lab, Respiratory, Vital Signs, and Patient Monitoring
  • Proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot
  • Strong customer service skills to provide world-class service to healthcare customers
