The Role:
The Hospice of Darke County seeks an LPN Weekend Warrior to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide competent nursing care to assigned patients through skilled symptom management, emotional support, and timely response to patient and family needs.
- Recognize and report changes in mental and/or physical status promptly to the registered nurse.
- Explain hospice services and benefits, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurances.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
- Current LPN licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Medical/Surgical, Oncology or community health nursing.
- Hospice experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Travel to other sites as needed.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs of supplies or equipment.
- Requires various amounts of sitting, standing, twisting, turning, bending, lifting, and walking.
Estimated Salary:
$52,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
