Job Summary:

This LPN position is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care:
    • Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
    • Perform treatments and procedures as directed by RNs.
    • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
    • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the RN.
    • Observe patients for signs of distress or deterioration and report findings to the RN.
  • Documentation:
    • Accurately document patient care activities in the medical record.
    • Complete incident reports as necessary.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
    • Participate in patient care planning and coordination.
  • Quality Improvement:
    • Assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
    • Adhere to facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Current LPN license in good standing.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
