Job Overview

Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy Operations, the Pharmacy Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Pharmacy Fulfillment department, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and effectively.

Available Work Schedules

  • Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Wednesday-Saturday 10:00am-8:30pm
  • Wednesday-Saturday 2:00pm-12:30am
  • Wednesday-Saturday 8:30pm-7:00am
  • Sunday-Wednesday 10:00am-8:30pm
  • Sunday-Wednesday 2:00pm-12:30am
  • Sunday-Wednesday 8:30am-7:00am

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager in resource allocation and daily workflow oversight within the Pharmacy.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, development, coaching, training, and direction of department personnel.
  • Address Pharmacy service-related inquiries and issues in alignment with company policy, fostering a positive customer experience.
  • Train Pharmacy staff on robotic replenishment and manual filling procedures, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness within the Pharmacy environment.
  • Monitor employee performance and contribute to performance evaluations.
  • Review reports and operational processes to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure that unusable medications are quarantined in accordance with established protocols.
  • Uphold and respect confidentiality guidelines as per HIPAA regulations.
  • Adhere to and support the enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in relevant meetings as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • State Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing is required, or a commitment to obtain the license within six months of hire.
  • Active PTCB Certification in good standing is required, or a commitment to obtain it within one year of hire.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A minimum of two years of pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet daily deadlines.
  • Effective, patient, and courteous communication skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
  • A collaborative team player who can effectively work with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role is situated in a standard office environment, necessitating prolonged periods of standing and the use of a computer. The position requires manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones.
