Job Title: Director, Learning

Job Summary:

The Director, Learning will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive learning and development initiatives across the organization. This role will partner with senior leadership to align learning strategies with business goals, ensuring the development of talent at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a scalable, company-wide learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational goals and growth objectives.
  • Create and evolve an employee development program, providing learning opportunities that effectively onboard new hires and allow for educational opportunities across various career pathways.
  • Design and implement leadership development programs at all levels, ensuring the creation of a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Partner with the Director of Talent and senior leadership to assess current and future talent development needs, identifying key skill gaps and delivering targeted learning initiatives to close them.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of learning programs, including e-learning, workshops, seminars, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Lead initiatives focused on change management, team effectiveness, and other organizational development strategies that support business transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technology platforms to scale learning programs and track key metrics.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Partner with the HR Business Partner Team to support and drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, professional growth, and organizational culture through strategic learning programs.
  • Oversee the L&D budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, and manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants.
  • Partner with the HR Operations Manager to track and analyze learning outcomes to assess the effectiveness of programs and continuously improve learning solutions.
  • Ensure learning programs meet compliance requirements for all relevant certifications, training standards, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience in the Information Technology industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with adult learning theories, instructional design, and leadership development best practices.
  • Proven experience designing and executing successful learning strategies in a midsize or enterprise environment.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
  • Expertise in leading change management and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Ability to leverage data analytics to measure program effectiveness and drive improvements.
