Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team at Lawson State Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching part-time courses in various subjects, including drafting, design, electronics, cosmetology, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach part-time courses in various subjects, including drafting, design, electronics, cosmetology, and more.
  • Develop and implement course syllabi and training plans.
  • Supervise students and maintain discipline in the classroom, lab, and shop.
  • Administer written and performance examinations to determine student progress.
  • Record student attendance and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in departmental orientation and communicate with students and administrators as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent in the teaching discipline.
  • Three years of successful full-time experience as a practitioner in the field.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with students and administrators.
