Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Business Instructor to join our team at Lawson State Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching credited academic and technical courses at the freshmen and sophomore levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver instruction for credited academic and technical courses in business-related subjects.
  • Develop and implement a system of recording student progress, including progress charts and online learning management systems.
  • Administer written and performance examinations to determine student progress and administer final written and performance examinations.
  • Supervise students in cooperative educational settings and respond to students' requests promptly.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and submit attendance reports as required.
  • Follow institutional and System policies, procedures, and guidelines, including FERPA Regulations and ADA Accommodation requirements.
Qualifications

A Master's degree including 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline is required. The successful candidate must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
