Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Biology Instructor to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching biology courses at the freshmen and sophomore levels, as well as performing other duties associated with institutional effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach biology courses, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Use a variety of teaching methods, including multimedia materials and technology-enhanced instruction
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
Requirements
  • Master's degree in biology or a related field, with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline
  • Experience teaching biology courses at the community college level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
