As a Project Manager at JCDecaux North America, you will be responsible for leading a variety of projects, supporting the team on bus shelters and transit amenities, vending kiosks program, community art program, installation of street furniture, digital devices, and more. This is a full-time position based in our downtown office in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison with diverse city staff in a variety of city departments.
- Serve as a liaison for several community groups, activists, and civic leaders.
- Manage, create, and curate content for all social media channels.
- Stay up-to-date with local politics, local urban planning, and public transit projects with a focus on transit riders' equity and sustainability goals.
- Maintain an understanding of the services the Company offers to the communities it serves.
- Work with several outside vendors for services and suppliers.
- Ability to take on special projects as needed, including creating, drafting, editing documents and memos, supporting RFP projects, and creating reports.
- Cover projects about cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Self-starter and ability to complete tasks with tight deadlines.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Fluent in Spanish required.
- Ability to positively interact, understand, and build partnerships with diverse entities and community groups within and outside the organization.
- Must be willing to add value to the team, the organization's current projects, and individual job accomplishments.
- Ability to be proactive and a team player in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree desired but not required.
- Knowledge of the LA public transit system is a plus.
