As a Project Quality Leader at JLG Architects, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality outcomes for our projects. You will work closely with the Director of Production to maintain a Quality Assurance program that supports all projects in meeting our target outcome of a minimum 3.5 QA rating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Production in maintaining a Quality Assurance program to support all projects throughout JLG.
  • Support projects through scheduled touch bases to track proper development.
  • Create and deliver ongoing training programs for project delivery staff to establish best practices and lessons learned.
  • Work with the design technology team in standards creation to support construction best practices and building code evolution.
  • Demonstrated understanding of managing teams of all sizes.
  • Accountable for full project deliverables.
  • Train and mentor Project Architects, Job Captains, and Project Associates through continual project peer review.
  • Accountable for construction administration phase outcomes demonstrated through JLG change order benchmarks.
  • Accountable for solutions to problems that maintain the design intent, are code compliant, and demonstrate a full understanding of best construction practices.
  • Establish team understanding of project goals and establish high-performance outcomes.
  • The Project Quality Leader must conduct themselves with utmost integrity and set an example of JLGer behavior.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in practice, including internships.
  • Master's of Architecture from an accredited university and current architectural registration/licensure.
  • Expert knowledge of building codes, building science, and constructability.
  • Expert knowledge of project budget management demonstrated through accountability to financial outcomes for all assigned project work.
  • Ability to provide job functions on projects of any budget.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred total project portfolio demonstrating experience of minimum $2 B in construction value.
  • Exteriors commissioning credentials (BECxP and/or CxA+BE).
  • Certified International Building Code Plans Examiner.
