Job Summary

The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist or Clinical Fellow to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist or Clinical Fellow, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language services to individuals with various communication disorders. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct and indirect services to clients, including individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation and education to families and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology and apply this knowledge to improve client outcomes.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current certification or eligibility for certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with individuals with communication disorders, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
