Job Title: Speech Pathologist or Clinical Fellow

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist or Clinical Fellow to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist or Clinical Fellow, you will be responsible for providing speech and language services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized service plans, conduct evaluations and treatments, and provide direct speech services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language services to children and adults with developmental disabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans
  • Conduct evaluations and treatments
  • Provide direct speech services
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team
  • Document services and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Licensed by New York State Education Department as a Speech Pathologist
  • Provisional certification as NYS Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped or NYS Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
  • Specialized training or one year experience in treatment of people with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency by American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment and a clinical and classroom setting. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, lift, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Work may require lifting, pushing, or pulling in excess of 30 pounds.

Benefits:

Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence offers a competitive salary range of $31.21-$35.58/hour, based on education and experience. We also offer a sign-on bonus of $10,000, payable in equal installments over 5 years.
