Job Overview

LESC's Diversity Works initiative aims to enhance and support families impacted by substance use disorders. We are in search of a Social Work Coordinator to contribute to our mission of positively influencing the lives of at-risk families.

The Social Work Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of social service personnel to guarantee that families receive holistic support tailored to their diverse needs. This role includes supervising Social Workers in the creation of individualized service plans, incorporating input from families and treatment professionals. Key service areas encompass mental health, education, behavioral health, medical care, housing assistance, criminal justice, child welfare, vocational training, and rental assistance.

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time

SALARY RANGE: $72,800 annually

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • LMSW (licensed in NY) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in family services, housing, or substance use support.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
