Job Purpose & Scope

The primary responsibility of this role is to meticulously examine all loan documentation to ensure adherence to Bank policies and regulatory compliance.

Essential Job Functions

+ Conduct thorough reviews of consumer and business loan files that do not involve real estate, ensuring all forms are accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations. This includes, but is not limited to:

+ Unsecured lending

+ Secured loans involving vehicles, trailers, boats, and ATVs

+ Loans secured by deposits

+ Financial collateral types such as Accounts Receivable, Equipment, Stocks, and Insurance

+ Agricultural loans secured by livestock or crops

+ Ensure collateral records are comprehensive and initiate maintenance requests as necessary

+ Verify that all borrowers, co-borrowers, and guarantors are accurately recorded in the system and request updates as needed

+ Communicate findings from reviews to relevant officers

+ Maintain tracking in the computer system for follow-up purposes

+ Liaise with officers and loan assistants regarding the review process and requirements

+ Uphold excellent punctuality and attendance standards

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

+ Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

+ Ability to operate under general supervision

+ Competent in working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines

+ Familiarity with federal lending regulations

Basic Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required

+ Minimum of one year of experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

+ Willingness to work extended hours as necessary

Ability to operate standard office equipment and technology used in a business setting, with or without accommodation.
