Job Title: Balancing Analyst I

Bank OZK is seeking a highly skilled Balancing Analyst I to join our team. As a key member of our Deposit Operations team, you will be responsible for assisting retail branch requests for assistance related to cash processing, Stop Pays, Non-Posts, and BounceProof.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform initial problem analysis when system problems occur.
  2. Assist branch employees with transactional processing issues.
  3. Balance checking accounts and general ledger accounts.
  4. Balance Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) and work with retail branch staff to resolve outages.
  5. Process non-posted items for deposit applications and the general ledger.
  6. Balance secondary correspondence accounts.
  7. Verify Stop Payments and Delayed Availability forms.
  8. Perform general functions of the BounceProof program.
  9. Process research requests.
  10. Monitor internally used general ledger accounts for transaction accuracy.
  11. Monitor asset verifications and government requests, such as Medicaid and Social Security Administration.
  12. Utilize Excel spreadsheets in completing daily job tasks.
  13. Complete all required training by assigned deadlines.
  14. Maintain good attendance and punctuality to work.
  15. Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Minimum of one (1) year experience with computers, including Microsoft Excel, required.
