Job Title: Early Intervention Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Intervention Service Coordinator to join our team at Fayette County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Job Summary

The Early Intervention Service Coordinator will work closely with families, healthcare providers, and other community resources to provide early intervention services to children from birth to three years old with developmental delays or diagnosed medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise families of their rights and assist parents in developing their role as advocates for their child.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records and information.
  • Organize and manage ongoing written documents, file management, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with providers and school districts to plan transition phases to preschool or other community programs.
  • Facilitate transition planning from the Early Intervention system to home and community as the child approaches the age of three.
Requirements

A bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social work, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of an associate degree is required for certification. The ideal candidate will possess or be willing to obtain and maintain certification from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, CPR, and First Aid certification. A valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record is also required.

The successful candidate will be able to pass a BCI/FBI background check, pre-employment drug screen, and physical. The Fayette County Board of Developmental Disabilities is a drug-free workplace and an equal opportunity employer.
