Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist will play a vital role in supporting our teachers, administrators, and staff in ensuring that every child receives optimal support, particularly those who require extra assistance in speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with instructional staff to provide language instruction and support.
  2. Participate in school processes to help children in need of extra support, including the Student Support Team and the Multidisciplinary Team.
  3. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans with measurable and achievable goals.
  4. Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech and language evaluations, adapting procedures as needed to meet child's needs.
  5. Integrate information from child's family, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to develop diagnoses and make recommendations for intervention.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
  • Minimum two years of experience serving children, with a strong preference for experience working with children with autistic spectrum disorders.
  • CCC-SLP certification required.
  • Expected to meet state licensing requirements.
