Staff Physician Assistant, Senior or Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Physician Assistant, Senior or Lead to join our team at UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services. This is a full-time position that will support the Altoona Imaging Department and involve performing Interventional procedures under IR physician supervision.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Physician Assistant and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our team offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health and welfare benefits like medical, vision, dental, and life insurance.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and their families to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
This role requires strong leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and excellent clinical judgment. You will also need to be able to handle multiple priorities and work effectively within a complex environment.
Requirements- A graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the physician assistant (ARC-PA) is required.
- Current state PA license certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Act 34 Clearance required.
