Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAT Scan Technologist to join our team at ATC White Plains. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and special procedure imaging, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting radiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and special procedure imaging using CAT scan equipment
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and documentation
  • Assist radiologists during procedures as needed
  • Operate and maintain CAT scan equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Process images and CDs as required
  • Adhere to established radiology standards of care and radiation protection principles
  • Assume responsibility for assigned areas and duties, including quality assurance and calibration
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and staff
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program or hospital-based program
  • NY State DOH licensure or limited permit required
  • ARRT registered (RT) and radiograph (R) and/or (CT) certified, and/or NMTCB registered (CNMT)
  • Documented training and experience in operating CT equipment and radiation physics and protection
  • Passing advanced CT examination/certification within 1 year from date of hire
  • Continuing education requirements to meet governing body standards
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working varied shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
