Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plays a vital role in our healthcare team, working under the supervision of a physician to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical, physical, social, and psychological status.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, consulting with physicians as needed.
  • Order and administer injections, immunizations, and medications, as well as write prescriptions based on treatment protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring clear documentation and billing information.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance, disease prevention, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced Practice Provider certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum three years of clinical practice experience.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain high levels of professional and personal integrity, and convey a professional demeanor.
Working Conditions

This role operates in a healthcare setting, requiring frequent sitting and computer work. The employee must be able to stand for 60% or longer of an 8-hour workday, walk for 20% or longer, and sit for 20% of the day. The employee must also be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and perform repetitive hand movements.
