Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, comprehensive, and compassionate clinical care to pediatric patients
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate clinical outcomes
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Prescribe medications and complex medical regimens, monitor for desired and adverse outcomes
  • Apply evidence-based medicine to neonatal and pediatric populations
  • Continuously evaluate relationships among access, cost, quality, safety, and their influence on healthcare outcomes and sustainability
  • Assume leadership roles to establish and monitor standards of practice and improve patient care
  • Translate health information, education, and support to families, considering child development, family readiness, and resources
  • Maintain accurate logs of credentialed procedures performed and demonstrate competency and expertise
  • Serve as an advocate for the needs of children and their families across the healthcare continuum
Requirements:
  • APRN-BC - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Board Certified
  • CPNP-AC - Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care
  • BLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 180 Days
  • DEA License within 30 Days
  • ATLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support (only required if working in Gen Surg) within 1 Year
  • ACLS (only required if working in Cardiology or CT Surgery) within 180 Days
