We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EHS Specialist to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our EHS programs and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conduct Site Inspections and Audits: Regularly inspect and audit our sites to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance issues.
- Perform Risk Assessments and Analysis: Conduct detailed risk assessments and process hazard analysis (PHA) using techniques such as HAZOP to identify potential risks and hazards.
- Implement Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the risk of accidents and incidents.
- Prepare and Present Reports: Prepare and present detailed reports on EHS performance, incidents, and inspection results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee the Management of Change Process: Ensure that all changes to our processes and procedures are properly managed and reviewed to ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
- Ensure Compliance with EHS Regulations: Ensure that our organization complies with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legislative changes.
- Provide Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS matters to promote a safety-conscious culture within the organization.
- Investigate EHS Incidents: Respond to and investigate EHS incidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in an FDA/GMP environment is preferred.
- Certifications such as PE, CIH, CSP are preferred.
