Job Overview
Sherman Associates is seeking an experienced Portfolio Property Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our residential portfolio, ensuring seamless customer experiences and driving business growth. As a key member of our property management team, you will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality standards, enforcing compliance with regulations, and fostering strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders.

About the Role
This position involves leasing apartments, implementing marketing strategies, showing properties, planning model apartments, and performing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, industry knowledge, and experience working with real estate software such as RealPage or Yardi. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are also essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage residential properties, including leasing, marketing, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to meet predetermined vacancy standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth property operations and high-quality services.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to property performance and tenant information.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local housing laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in residential property management or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Familiarity with real estate software and technology.
