Athletic Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at Northwell Health. The successful candidate will provide top-notch athletic training services to our athletes, ensuring their safety and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide athletic training services for designated events and maintain medical kits and equipment.
- Develop and implement injury prevention and fitness programs, as well as maintain inventory and budget.
- Act as liaison between family physicians, specialists, schools, athletes, and parents, and maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments.
- Participate in related education and research programming, and perform related duties as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current License to practice as an Athletic Trainer in New York State and Certified by National Board of Certification, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 1-3 years of related experience.
