Job Summary:

As a Dietary Specialist at Developmental Disabilities Institute, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our clients. This position requires a strong understanding of nutrition and dietetics, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized diet plans for clients

Create menus for DDI personnel to follow

Participate in training of DDI personnel on menus, diet plans, and modified diets

Participate in IDT conferences as required

Complete monthly and annual nutrition summaries

Ensure compliance with OPWD regulatory standards

Liaise with facility nurse regarding nutrition issues

Requirements:

N.Y. State Registered Dietician's License required

N.Y. State Driver's Licensure preferred

Knowledge of OPEDD regulations preferred

Experience with MR/DD preferred
