Position Summary:
The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations and quality assurance programs for designated customer accounts or locations. This role entails managing, defining, coordinating, and facilitating projects to ensure the success of assigned accounts and regional operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning operations for customers.
- Continuously monitor operations to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Develop staff through training, technical skills enhancement, safety protocols, and performance management.
- Plan and lead projects aimed at improving efficiency and productivity while implementing best practices in management.
- Identify and resolve operational issues.
- Recognize technical, procedural, and equipment challenges affecting cleaning performance and communicate with support personnel as necessary.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices where applicable.
- Maintain minimum inventory levels of standard stock materials.
- Represent the company during customer meetings.
- Ensure accurate time and attendance recording while complying with labor laws.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in facilities management, production, manufacturing, janitorial services, hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience in managing an hourly workforce.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent documentation skills with adherence to regulations.
- Proven problem-solving and issue resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to policy adherence and company culture.
- High attention to detail and effective time management skills.
Job responsibilities require engaging in the following physical activities:
- Operating a motor vehicle.
- Standing, walking, lifting, climbing, talking, and hearing.
- Using hands for various tasks and reaching with arms.
Vision Requirements:
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
- Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
- Ability to adjust focus (ability to bring objects into sharp focus).
