As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment and performing diagnostic procedures. You will also be responsible for obtaining patient history, explaining routine procedures, and addressing patient concerns. If necessary, you will prepare and administer barium salts or other chemical mixtures. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist and/or physician. You will prepare and maintain records and files as directed. You will clean and adjust equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
* Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist's expectations and protocols.
* Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
* Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
* Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
* Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
* Uses standard precautions, PPE, at all times.
* Maintains regulatory compliance and licensure for current position.
* Attends all required educational programs as well as all Learn modules.
* Contributes to the efficient operation and monitoring of the department and utilizes our resources efficiently.
* Demonstrates complete working knowledge of equipment within assigned area.
* Knowledge and performance of the Code of Conduct Standards.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Minimum Qualifications:

* Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
* State of Kentucky License and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
* New grads: Temporary State of Kentucky License and board eligibility required. Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 months
* BLS

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2 years previous experience in radiology preferred

Pay Range:

* $32.49/hour
