Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Washington Radiology. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic and other imaging procedures as prescribed by a physician, instructing patients on proper physiological requirements.
  • Assure all necessary consent forms are signed prior to performing examinations and correctly process pertinent exam-related information.
  • Actively participate in quality assurance monitoring and recording efforts, reducing radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  • Report any equipment and maintenance problems and perform preventative/corrective maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, complying with OSHA regulations.
  • Promote a team approach and positive image of Washington Radiology, maintaining confidentiality when dealing with patient information and corporate business.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as required, with certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation within one year of employment and renewal annually.
  • Licensure by the state for technologists working in Maryland and Virginia offices.
