Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans and explain procedures in a clear and concise manner
  • Position patients on the examination table for optimal testing procedures and conditions
  • Set up equipment to administer the proper procedure in a timely fashion
  • Perform CT scans as prescribed by ordering physicians and calculate and enter the number of scans to be obtained
  • Obtain images of anatomical areas of interest and ensure proper views and images have been obtained
  • Collect and process patient data and calculations for physician interpretation
  • Monitor patient condition and report any abnormal changes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Technologist (R.T.) certification
  • Prior radiology technology experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively
