Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist with CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by operating imaging equipment and performing diagnostic procedures. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses, while your excellent communication skills will put them at ease throughout the process.


Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Obtaining patient history and explaining routine procedures to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience.
  • Preparing and administering barium salts or other chemical mixtures as needed.
  • Performing diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist and/or physician.
  • Maintaining accurate records and files as directed.
  • Cleaning and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • A State of Kentucky License and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Temporary State of Kentucky License and board eligibility for new graduates.
  • BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, 2 years of previous experience in radiology is preferred.
