Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Professional to join our team at A & B Distributors, a local wholesale food distributor. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, attracting new clients, and closing deals within your territory. Your key responsibilities will include creating and submitting customer bids, building rapport with existing and potential customers, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals.
- Develop strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication and visits.
- Meet or exceed designated sales targets by leveraging effective sales strategies and techniques.
- Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and increase revenue.
- Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in our CRM system to ensure accurate tracking and analysis.
As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent negotiation and customer service skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. A high school diploma/GED is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in outside sales to restaurants is also necessary.
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
