Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flooring Installation Manager to join our team at ISI. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, including inventory management, receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor quality standards with regular inspections of installations to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Take care of small punch items and repairs as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Work closely with our project team to drive awareness of problems and correct them early in the installation process.
  • Communicate corrective actions needed with installers to project management, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Document visits by submitting daily punch reports to project management, providing valuable insights for improvement.
  • Receive and confirm jobsite deliveries as needed, followed up by routine inventory reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, implementing efficient processes and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials to installation sites.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of flooring experience, preferably in a management role.
  • Installation experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to move about to visit customers routinely, with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work indoors and outside in varying temperatures, with a focus on physical stamina.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Pleasant and clearly understandable phone voice.
    • Ability to lift and carry 40+ lbs.
    • Loading and unloading materials and equipment by hand.
    • Ability to operate forklift and other equipment relating to flooring installations.
    • Ability to climb stairs and spend the majority of the day on foot, with a minimum of 5,000+ steps per day.
