Flooring Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold quality standards in installations.
  • Address minor punch list items and repairs promptly as they arise.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team to identify and resolve issues early in the installation process.
  • Communicate necessary corrective actions to installers and project management.
  • Document site visits by submitting daily punch reports to project management.
  • Receive and verify job site deliveries as required, followed by routine inventory reporting.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials.
  • Implement efficient warehouse processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to installation sites.
  • Maintain a well-organized, safe, and clean warehouse environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in flooring preferred.
  • Installation experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel frequently to visit clients.
  • Capability to drive for extended periods and make multiple stops.
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Clear and pleasant phone communication skills.
  • Capability to lift and carry over 40 lbs.
  • Experience in loading and unloading materials and equipment manually.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment related to flooring installations.
  • Capacity to climb stairs and remain on foot for the majority of the day, exceeding 5,000 steps daily.
