Position Overview:

As an Employee Onboarding Specialist at TQL, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the seamless integration of new hires into the organization on a weekly basis. The Onboarding Team plays a crucial role in fostering employee engagement from the moment they accept their offer through their initial months with us. In this capacity, you will have the chance to collaborate with and support our dedicated onboarding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Onboarding team in facilitating day one orientation sessions
  • Present TQL information and address employee inquiries regarding training, HR policies, and systems
  • Manage the distribution of welcome gifts, shipping items, and coordinating team lunches for new hires nationwide
  • Provide support to Onboarding Specialists on specific projects as required
  • Aid the Onboarding team with communications, data management, and other administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop innovative campaign strategies and ideas
  • Offer assistance to other Marketing teams, including Impressions, Events and Engagement, and our Corporate Giving team as necessary

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a collaborative team setting with a positive, solution-focused approach
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to build effective relationships and engage with new employees
  • Flexibility to accommodate a varied schedule, including some evenings and weekends for special events
  • Highly motivated with an exceptional work ethic
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Experience in presenting to large groups
